About our School

Headteacher's Welcome

On behalf of the staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School. We are one-form entry, Church of England primary school set in extensive, beautiful grounds in urban area of Waltham Cross.

We believe that all our children, staff and families are a vital part of our community, where we work to make learning a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all.

Our school vision threads through all aspects of the life of our school:

Alta Pete – Aim High

‘Let your light shine’ Matthew 5: 16

We encourage and support our children to be the best they can be, aiming high to reach the challenges they face, and letting their lights shine brightly. Everyone is seen as so valuable in God’s eyes that everyone must be supported and encouraged to be the very best they can be. We are a fully inclusive school where no one will or can be left behind.

This includes welcoming all children from a wide range of families and cultural backgrounds, and children with a range of special educational needs, who we celebrate as a valuable part of our rich and diverse school community. Our link with Christ Church is strong and we provide pupils with the time to pray and reflect within our school day.

This website will hopefully give you an opportunity to see what we offer, provide useful updates and information, and share our learning. Our school provides a caring and purposeful environment where our children thrive and develop.

If you are considering enrolling your child at our school, please feel free to contact us. Similarly, should you ever wish to discuss any aspect of the school with us, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Our School

Our status as a Church of England school is fundamental to our ethos and purpose. We expect all our staff to support our Christian vision and aims. At Holy Trinity School we believe in the concept of lifelong learning and the idea that both adults and children learn new things every day. We maintain that learning should be a rewarding and enjoyable experience for everyone; it should be fun.

Everyone is seen as so valuable in God’s eyes that everyone must be supported and encouraged to be the very best they can be. We are a fully inclusive school where no one will or can be left behind.

The primary aim of the school is to help each pupil reach his or her full potential so that they may develop the attitudes, skills and knowledge to take full advantage of the opportunities available in their future lives.

Useful Information

Little Learners is a private, packaway pre-school which runs from The Deering Centre on our school site. We have really close links with the pre-school and many of our Reception children come from this setting.

More information

We run a successful breakfast club from 7.50am until the children go into school. Children can be dropped off at school from 7.45am.
