Message from the Headteacher

I know that everyone is concerned about the Coronavirus. Please be assured that we are taking all the precautions we have been advised to do, and are keeping you updated as much as possible. We are explaining to children how to hand-wash, and reminding them to do it regularly. This is the key piece of advice for everyone. We have additional cleaning with disinfectant as well as our normal cleaning routine. Everything that has been advised is in place. As usual if children show a high temperature we will be sending them home, and we ask that you use the up-to-date advice if you are concerned.

The latest advice is available here: https://bit.ly/38OYMz8

In the event of a school closure due to coronavirus, we would communicate this via the usual channels: text messages will be sent out; our school website will have a message on it; we will use the Everbridge service we use for snow closures; the gate will have a notice on it. We are working closely with all of the Local Authority, Public Health England and DFE advice.

Whilst our children are not on site, the site will be completely closed to prevent any germs spreading- therefore our staff will not be available face to face. Please contact either myself or Miss Plant if you are concerned about ‘surviving’ over a period of school closure as we can signpost to support, offer foodbank/food vouchers and offer advice.
