Inclusion Strategy

Background

The Department for Education (DfE) has introduced the Inclusive Mainstream Fund (IMF) as part of its wider commitment to developing a more inclusive mainstream education system. From 2026–27, mainstream schools receive additional funding to strengthen inclusive practice, remove commonly occurring barriers to learning and participation, and provide earlier, evidence-based support for children with additional needs and SEND. Schools are required to publish an Inclusion Strategy setting out how they will use their resources, including the IMF, to strengthen inclusive provision and improve outcomes for all pupils.

Our Inclusion Strategy

At Holy Trinity, inclusion has long been at the heart of our approach. We are committed to creating a school where every child belongs, participates, achieves and thrives, underpinned by our Christian vision and values. Our Inclusion Strategy builds on the work we have already undertaken and sets out how we will continue to strengthen inclusive practice, remove barriers to learning and participation, and ensure that every child is supported to aim high and let their light shine.
